The Year 1 Winch Sustainable Super market day was the most exhilarating and happening event that the parents and children witnessed on the 26th of June 2019. It was an enriching and exciting experience for young and old to promote sustainability.
The event, led by the children, was an exciting platform for the children to act out, make sense of real life situations and learn through ‘play’. The parents were in awe to see children instructing the customers and managing the supermarket in a very professional manner. From the amazing ATM counters to the Café with scrumptious snacks…the children led it beautifully and made it a successful event. The Henna corner was buzzing with children in a queue waiting for their turn to get intricate designs painted. The sustainable creations stall depicted the hard and creative work on the children. The highlight of the event was the grand performance by the talented flash mob dancers who confidently swayed and rocked on a peppy song. The audience (parents and teachers) were mesmerized by the performance. A truly entertaining event …well done little entrepreneurs! The children of Year 1E rocked confidently as they performed their class assembly on the 25th of June 2019. The aim of the assembly was to raise awareness on kindness amongst humanity.
It was an eye opener for everyone as the young innocent children passed on their simple views on spreading kindness through their charming ways to the audience. The children performed confidently in front of their peers, parents and teachers and were applauded for conveying their kindness message successfully. The song was a treat for all. Parents were thrilled to see their children singing/dancing and were mesmerized by their performance. It was surely a proud moment for them. The hula hoop performer rocked the show through her fabulous presentation. Well done Year 1 E ….Keep up the amazing work!
