The students of year 1I presented the assembly on Reading. Children were encouraged to read anytime anywhere. This will help them to keep themselves occupied with constructive learning as well as improve their vocabulary. Through this wonderful act the shining stars of 1I helped everyone to know the importance of reading and how it can give them confidence and further build up their personality.
Indeed, a proud moment to the watch the little ones enact with zeal and confidence.

Year1 B spread the message on growth mindset. They believed and showed in the assembly, that no matter how hard things get they should never give up and keep trying till they succeed.
The performance was based on 3 different acts .The behavior of children in class, friends in the garden, and children in field. They performed confidently in front of a huge audience (children, parents and teachers). It was an informative event as the children shed light on the importance of Growth Mindset in their everyday lives and successfully conveyed the key points to the audience. The song on Growth Mindset “Try again”” was fantastically sung by the children, further embedding the importance of the subject of the assembly. Highlight of the event was Arabic dialogues and acrobats by different children displayed on the song. The parents were over whelmed by the confident presenters. Well done year 1B. Keep up the brilliant work. Learning Humanities by doing is what children of Year 1 demonstrated to their parents. They played the role of teachers presenting the activities and working in teams with zeal. A plethora of activities that were made using different mediums dealing with continents, oceans and landforms were available. Parents explored different activities such as matching pictures to sentences, enacting in role play area, spotting the continents and oceans on the clever touch, poster making, ‘pot of gold’ board game, play dough activity etc. The session ended with a quiz for parents to answer. Parents were delighted to see their little ones as confident little teachers and it was reflected in their feedback.
